WAT
Onze ‘artist training’ is precies wat de titel al doet vermoeden: een plek voor professionele circusartiesten om op gezette tijden te trainen. Je deelt de trainingsruimte met anderen, het is dus geen creatie- of repetitieruimte. Was je op zoek naar een zaal waar je ongehinderd kan creëren voor langere periode, dan kan je misschien terecht bij de één van de vier werkplaatsen die Vlaanderen telt.
WIE
Deze trainingsruimte is voor professionele circusartiesten en artiesten die het traject ‘vers talent’ volgen bij Circusplaneet. Ook onze docenten kunnen van de artist training gebruik maken.
Ben je (nog) geen professioneel artiest maar zoek je ook trainingsruimte? Dan kan je terecht in onze community trainingen.
WANNEER
Van 22 september 2025 t.e.m. 30 mei 2026:
maandag van 13u tot 17u

zaterdag van 14u tot 17u (samen met de community training)
→ De uren voor juni 2026 kunnen licht afwijken: deze worden nog tijdig meegedeeld.
→ Tijdens schoolvakanties en op officiële feestdagen is er geen training.
→ In juli en augustus is er zomer artist training: deze trainingsmomenten zijn enkel voor abonnees.
* Woensdag = rigging day. Heb je hulp of advies nodig voor de rig van je luchtacromateriaal, kom dan op woensdagochtend naar de ATR, onze rigger is dan aanwezig.
INSCHRIJVEN & PRIJZEN
Jaarabonnement (van 22 september 2025 t.e.m. 30 mei 2026)
€ 130
= het hele schooljaar lang toegang tot de Artist Training + zomerartist training + mogelijkheid tot aanvragen creatieruimte gedurende het schooljaar. (Enkel tijdens de kerstvakantie is er geen mogelijkheid tot creatieruimte.)
€ 115 indien je aansluit na de herfstvakantie.
€ 95 indien je aansluit na de kerstvakantie.
€ 80 indien je aansluit na de krokusvakantie.
€ 65 indien je aansluit na de paasvakantie.
€ 30 voor enkel de zomer artist training.
Inschrijven per trimester:
€ 50 1ste trimester (van half september tot aan de kerstvakantie)
€ 50 2de trimester (vanaf kerstvakantie tot aan de paasvakantie)
€ 50 3de trimester (vanaf paasvakantie tot aan de zomervakantie)
€ 30 voor enkel de zomer artist training
= 1 trimester toegang tot de Artist Training + mogelijkheid tot aanvragen creatieruimte tijdens datzelfde trimester. (Enkel tijdens de kerstvakantie is er geen mogelijkheid tot creatieruimte.)
Weekabonnement:
€ 35 voor 1 week
= 7 opeenvolgende dagen toegang tot de Artist Training + mogelijkheid tot aanvragen extra repetitieruimte tijdens die week. (Enkel tijdens de kerstvakantie is er geen mogelijkheid tot creatieruimte.)
1 dag Artist Training:
€ 8 voor 1 dag
= 1 dag Artist Training
Let op:
GEEN mogelijkheid tot aanvragen extra repetitieruimte die dag.
Inschrijven dient te gebeuren vóór je eerste deelname aan de artist training via het inschrijvingsformulier.
Na inschrijving breng je je betaling in orde, vanaf dan kan je komen trainen. Wie een factuur nodig heeft, kan dit aanduiden op het inschrijfformulier. Voor vragen kan je terecht bij Eva via eva@circusplaneet.be.
RIGGING & MATERIAAL
Je kan gebruik maken van onze (val)matten, trampolines, longe en luchtacromateriaal. Er zijn twee ophangpunten voorzien met katrol waaraan je je eigen luchtacromateriaal kan bevestigen. Zorg dan wél voor je eigen musketons en slings. Uiteraard dien je je eigen materiaal op het einde van de training ook terug te verwijderen. Eigen rigging op andere luchtacropunten is niet mogelijk, maar wel op grondpunten (eigen koorddansinstallatie, eigen mast…).
Hou er rekening mee dat grote installaties of circusdisciplines die extreem veel ruimte nodig hebben, niet geschikt zijn voor de artist training, vermits je de ruimte deelt met andere artiesten.
Heb je nog andere vragen in verband met rigging? Stuur een mailtje naar eva@circusplaneet.be of kom naar de artist training op woensdag, wanneer onze rigger aanwezig is.
Je eigen circusmateriaal kan eventueel in de kelder van de kerk opgeslagen worden. In de zaal zelf is géén plaats om materiaal te stockeren. Circusplaneet is niet verantwoordelijk voor schade of diefstal.
VERZEKERING
Wie als professioneel artiest bij Circusplaneet traint, zorgt voor eigen verzekeringen: een aanvullende sportverzekering, verzekering burgerlijke aansprakelijkheid (voor schade aan gebouwen of derden), een verzekering die werkonbekwaamheid dekt, … zijn niet bij de inschrijving voor de artist training inbegrepen.
CREATIERUIMTE
Wie naast deze reguliere trainingen nog wil werken aan een voorstelling en dus repetitie- en/of creatieruimte nodig heeft, kan deze extra momenten aanvragen via eva@circusplaneet.be. Voorwaarde: je bent ingeschreven en hebt betaald voor een abonnementsformule en de extra repetitie valt ook in de periode van je abonnement. Er is dan ook geen extra kost.
Let op: onze eigen activiteiten (lessen, artist training, coaching Vers Talent…) hebben voorrang op creatieruimte. In uitzonderlijke gevallen kan het dus zijn dat Circusplaneet de ruimte last-minute toch voor eigen activiteiten nodig heeft en zullen we je moeten vragen om de repetitie te verzetten. Wil je echt een ruimte voor langere tijd voor jou of jouw gezelschap, dan klop je beter aan bij 1 van de vier werkplaatsen voor circus die Vlaanderen telt.
Sleutels ophalen en terugbrengen kan enkel tijdens de uren van artist training.
Je kan niet vroeger dan twee maanden of later dan drie dagen op voorhand een creatie- of repetitieruimte aanvragen.
Vergeet ook niet de afspraak zo snel mogelijk te annuleren als er iets tussenkomt, zodat andere artiesten het vrijgekomen blok nog kunnen reserveren.
Enkel tijdens de kerstvakantie gaat Circusplaneet helemaal toe, de verwarming uit en alle rigging-materiaal komt naar beneden voor keuring. Er is dan geen mogelijkheid tot aanvraag creatieruimte.

WHAT
Our ‘artist training’ is exactly what the title would suggest: a place for professional circus artists to train at regular basis. You share the space with other artists, therefore it is not a place for creation nor rehearsal. If you were looking for a place to create, you might find it at one of the four working places for circus in Flanders
WHO
This training space is meant for professional circus artists and participants of the ‘vers talent’ programme by Circusplaneet.
If your are not a professional artist (yet), you are welcome to train in our community trainings.
WHEN
From September the 22nd 2025 until May the 30th 2026:
Monday from 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.
Tuesdays from 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.
Wednesdays from 10.30 a.m. -1 p.m.*
Thursday from 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.
Fridays from 12.30 p.m. – 3.30 p.m.
Saturdays from 2 p.m. – 5 p.m. (at the same time as the community training)
→ The hours will be slightly adjusted for June 2026: these hours will be communicated in time.
→ There is no regular training during school holidays and public holidays.
→ In July and August, there is summer artist training. These summer training moments are only for professional artists with a long-time subscription.
* Wednesday = rigging day. If you need help or advice for the rigging of your aerial acro equipment, come to the ATR on Wednesday morning and our rigger will be present.
REGISTRATION & PRICES
Registration has to be completed before your first participation in our artist training via the online form.
One-year subscription: (from September the 22nd 2025 until May the 30th 2026)

= an entire school year access to the Artist Training + summer artist training+ possibility to apply for creation space (Only during the Christmas holiday there is no possibility for creation space).

Subscription per trimester
€ 50 1st trimester (from half September until the Christmas Holiday)

= 7 following calendar days access to the Artist Training + possibility to apply for creation space during that week (Only during the Christmas holiday is there no possibility for creation space).

RIGGING & MATERIAL
You can use our (crash) mats, trampolines, lunge belt + safety lines and aerial equipment. There are two rigging points with pulleys to rig your own aerial apparatus, but you have to bring your own snap hooks and slings. Of course you have to remove your material at the end of your training. You cannot rig your own material on other rigging points in the air, but there are floor points you can use (own tightrope installation, own Chinese pole…).
Keep in mind that big installations or circus disciplines that require a lot of space are not appropriate for artist training since you share the space with other artists.

Your own circus material can possibly be stored in the basement of the church. You cannot leave circus material in the training space. Circusplaneet is not responsible for damage or theft.
INSURANCE
Anyone training as a professional artist at Circusplaneet is responsible for their own insurance: supplementary sports insurance, liability insurance (for damage to buildings or third parties), and insurance covering incapacity for work are not included in the registration for artist training.
CREATION SPACE
Those who want to work on a performance and therefore need a rehearsal and/or creation space, can apply for additional rehearsal space via eva@circusplaneet.be. One condition: you are registered and you paid for a yearly, seasonal or weekly subscription, and the additional rehearsals you apply for are during that period. There are no extra charges. Keep in mind: our own activities (classes, artist training, coaching Vers Talent…) take precedence over creation space. Therefore, in exceptional cases, should Circusplaneet need the space at the last minute for her own activities, we will ask you to move your rehearsal to another moment. If you (or your company) really need a space for a longer period of time, you should direct yourself to places that offer residencies. You can find an overview on the website of Circuscentrum.
Collecting and returning keys is only possibly during the hours of artist training.
You cannot reserve a creation or rehearsal space longer than two months in advance or later than three days in advance.
Don’t forget to cancel your reservation as soon as possible in case something comes up, so that other artists can reserve the space.
Only during the Christmas holiday, Circusplaneet closes completely, the heating is turned off, and all rigging equipment is taken down for inspection. During this period, it is not possible to request creation space.
